Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation (HCCDC) is committed to reactivating Lee Wharf A, the historic former wharf building in Honeysuckle.

In 2021, HCCDC awarded a long-term lease to Hope Estate to create ‘Hope at Honeysuckle’ following a competitive expression of interest (EOI) process.

While the proposal promised to bring new and exciting offerings to the precinct, issues with the Lessee satisfying the obligations of its lease have resulted in HCCDC’s decision to terminate the contract.

HCCDC shares the community’s anticipation for a new and exciting offering at the Wharf and intends to launch a competitive process for a new operator this year.
