Mt Penang works
A master-planning process is underway to create clear guidelines for how land within Mount Penang Parklands can be used.
We are undertaking studies around urban design and heritage conservation, which will help inform the master plan and define suitable uses for each of Mount Penang’s eight existing precincts.
Master-planning aligns with the strategic vision for the site as a key employment node and part of the Somersby to Erina growth corridor. It also considers the site’s unique heritage and biodiversity.
The process will inform a planning proposal to amend the land use zoning for the site, along with a proposed amendment to the development control plan provisions. These will provide greater certainty for the future use of the site.

Work is underway to provide much-needed upgrades to Mount Penang’s water, sewer, road and parking amenity. Taking place in a staged approach, these works will continue for the next three years.
Stage one is complete, with sewer service works around the Central Coast Highway precinct now finished.
Visitors to Mount Penang, as well as business and education tenants, may encounter an increase in trade vehicles and minor traffic disruptions during these works. If you encounter any issues during this time, or if you have any questions, please contact us on 02 4904 2750.
